Altona Meadows and Werribee our clubs are open 24 Hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with an access card!
If you need to talk to a staff member, or want to come during hours which the clubs have staff available:
Werribee Staffed Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 9:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 8:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 12:30pm, Sunday 8.00am – 12.00pm Public Holidays 8:00am – 11:30pm.
The Werribee Club will not be staffed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.
Altona Meadows staffed hours Monday – Friday 9.00am – 12.00pm, Monday – Friday 5.00pm – 8.00pm and Saturday 9.00am – 1.00pm. Public Holidays are not staffed.
Yes! At our Werribee Club, we have memberships to suit everyone. If you purchase a Bronze Level Membership, you will be shown around by one of our instructors who will do a short Health and Fitness readiness questionnaire. At our Silver level and above, you will have a Lifestyle Assessment, our gym floor instructor will work out an exercise routine to suit your individual need and show you how to use the equipment, additionally an awesome feature – In Balance Fitness Offer our OMP (Our Most Popular) members a 12-week Induction program. So, if you are nervous about starting a gym, and want that extra care and attention, we can help you! Want More? Ask us about our Platinum membership.
At Altona Meadows, every new member has an Induction to show each new person around the club. Each new member receives Health and Fitness readiness questionnaire.
We provide a text reminder service 48 hours prior to appointments, and ask for a minimum 24 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments to provide us with adequate time and opportunity to book in other members who may be waiting for an appointment.
However, we do understand when life gets in the way, so if something comes up we ask that you call us ASAP to let us know if you are unable to attend an appointment. Failure to do so will incur a fee, please see our cancellation policy in more detail here:
The minimum age is 16 providing that you have parents’ consent and your legal guardian must complete a guarantor form.
A positive attitude, a sweat towel and proper workout gear. No work boots, thongs, jeans or offensive garments.

Altona Meadows does not offer group classes.
Is personal training included?
Personal training is a fantastic way to fast track your goals! All our trainers charge according to experience and qualifications. Expect to pay between $30-$70 per session for one on one personal training.
We would be sorry to see you go and want to thank you for being a member with us. We would hope you have enjoyed your time at In Balance Fitness – we try to make exercise convenient and easy, and we want to do the same with exiting your membership.
To cancel your membership at Werribee – just pop into the Club between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, talk to our Member Care Manager who will help to complete a cancellation form.
If you have completed your minimum term, your membership will be cancelled the following business day, upon completion of the cancellation form.
If you’re unable to come into the Club, you can call, Ph: 9741 2686 or send us an email. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org. The Manager will then reply to you within 2 business days of its receipt.
Please note cancellation requests via email will incur a 14 – day notice period.

Yes, we offer a dual membership, if you call the Club, our friendly staff can inform you of the details.

Altona Meadows is a member only club and does not offer casual use.
If you wish to go on holidays or in the unfortunate case that you become ill, we can suspend your membership. As a 12-month member(In term) you get 4 weeks free suspension every year and a 3 month can suspend for 1 week free of charge.
If you need to suspend out of term or for longer, it will cost $5 per week. Please contact our Member Care Coordinator on 9741 2686 or email at email@example.com to discuss these options.
If you are moving or are unable to continue with your membership, you can transfer the remainder of your membership to a friend, a family member or anyone who is not an existing member. For a direct debit member, this would involve transferring the remaining number of debits on the agreement.
All you need to do is make an appointment with our Member Care Coordinator on 9741 2686 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org, come into the club with the person your transferring the membership to, and fill out the necessary paperwork to be completed. If the transferee is under 18 years of age, a Guarantor form will need to be completed (in club) by a parent or guardian. The member transferring their membership will also incur a $50 transfer fee.
